Women in Photojournalism

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

For decades, women have been working as photojournalists, but with the recent revelations about sexual harassment — sparked by the #metoo movement — and the still mostly male (mostly white) bylines that tend to dominate the front pages of many newspapers, many women in the field are asking how far have we really come in the quest for equality? In this session, panelists will discuss what challenges still exist for women in photojournalism, but also how and where some of these challenges are being dismantled?
